Event Volunteer with the K+C Foundation
The Kensington + Chelsea Foundation is an independent and trusted local charity, set up in 2008. Although we are small, we are perfectly formed with a highly committed team focused on improving the lives and opportunities of people in our community. In 2023, we are increasing our impact through our Events Programme. We need volunteers to join us and help build a better life for everyone in Kensington + Chelsea.
The impact you’ll have by volunteering with the K+C Foundation
Everyone has something to give and by volunteering with the Kensington + Chelsea Foundation, you’ll have a meaningful impact right here in your local community. Our events raise vital funds to help us support almost 30,000 vulnerable people living in our neighborhood every year, but we can’t do it alone and need you to join Team K+C.
Who can be an Event Volunteer?
Anyone! Under 18s need to be accompanied by an appropriate adult but we’ve got a variety of events coming up and we’re sure there is a role suited to your needs. As long as you’re flexible on weekends and evenings, can bring enthusiasm, a friendly attitude and the willingness to help us deliver exceptional event experiences, we’d love to have you on Team K+C.
What is Team K+C?
When you volunteer for the Kensington + Chelsea Foundation, you join a team of people committed to helping ensure everyone in our borough can live a happy, healthy and fulfilled life. Join our inclusive and friendly team today.

How we’ll support you
We know people volunteer for a variety of reasons and if you’re looking to improve your skills, then we can definitely help. Event volunteering offers a variety of opportunities which can help build your CV with experiences in community awareness and engagement, event coordination and logistics, and of course raising vital funds. We can also act as a reference if required.
Our next event: Chelsea Arts Society Exhibition
We are delighted to be the chosen charity partner of Chelsea Arts Society’s upcoming Summer exhibition. We’re truly thankful to Chelsea Arts Society for thinking of us and including us in their wonderful exhibition which will help raise much needed funds, supporting our projects and partners across Kensington + Chelsea.
Our event volunteers will play a vital role in the evening, with duties including:
-
Greeting and welcoming guests
-
Assisting our auction provider Givergy in encouraging people to bid in our silent auction
-
Help spot bidders during our Live Auction
-
Assist a K+C staff member in collecting Auction payments
