Community Engagement Manager, Kensington & Chelsea Foundation


Salary: in the region of £30,000 (dependent on experience)

Based: Ladbroke Grove, London W11


The Kensington & Chelsea Foundation’s mission is to bring together people, businesses, voluntary organisations and charities in our Borough to build a better place for everyone. Our vision is one of a Borough in which no one is held back by a lack of opportunity, and where local people and organisations work together to strengthen our community.


We are looking for a Community Engagement Manager to fulfil a key function and join our small team. The post holder will maintain and build long-term relationships with the local voluntary sector and community, leading our grant-making and campaign administration, monitoring and evaluation processes and liaising with our supporters.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone with who is looking for a new challenge. We are seeking a pro-active individual, who is self-motivated, organised and has the ability to work effectively under pressure.


The postholder should have excellent written skills and be an outstanding communicator. This is a vital and varied role and will require someone who is able to build key relationships for the K&C Foundation with people across the Borough.


The postholder should ideally be someone educated to degree level who understands the communities we work with and is passionate about making a local difference.
